WHY FLOW STATE?
Flow is a huge part of what
I teach and practice.
From performing on the pole,
to moving energy with sound
to guiding others to flow on
their mats in their bodies.
My offerings and services vary but all
focus on finding that flow state.
Whether you are practising yoga, pole or
receiving a sound healing journey from me.
My intention is to guide you to that place
where you are deeply absorbed and
focused on the present moment.

My Online Yoga membership explores
Samadhi this March
Samādhi is extensively discussed in ancient yogic and spiritual texts, particularly in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, and various Upanishads. These texts describe Samādhi as the highest state of meditation, where the individual self dissolves into pure awareness.
“Tatra dhyānam ekatānata dhyānābhāvah samādhi”
(Yoga Sutra 3.2)
“When there is uninterrupted meditation, it is called Dhyāna. When even meditation disappears, it is called Samādhi.”
“Yatroparamate cittam niruddham yogasevayā, Yatra caivātmanātmānaṁ paśyannātmani tuṣyati.”
(Bhagavad Gita 6.20)
“When the mind is completely still, free from distractions, absorbed in the Self, and experiencing the Self within, that is true Samādhi.”
“Yat kiñcid dṛśyate rūpaṁ tat kiñcid manasā smṛtam, Manasaśca layaṁ yāti tad viṣṇoḥ paramaṁ padam.”
(Hatha Yoga Pradipika 4.64)
“Whatever is seen externally or remembered by the mind dissolves in Samādhi. That state is the highest reality.”
-
Stillness of the Mind – Yoga Sutras define Samādhi as the complete cessation of mental fluctuations.
-
Detachment & Equanimity – Bhagavad Gita emphasizes remaining unaffected by external conditions.
-
Union with Brahman – Upanishads describe Samādhi as becoming one with the infinite reality.
-
Dissolution of Ego – Hatha Yoga Pradipika explains that in Samādhi, all sense of individual self disappears.
