A Bit About Me
Hi, I'm Mikala — or Mikki.
I first rolled out a yoga mat over 12 years ago, hoping to get a little more flexible for pole fitness — but I quickly realised I’d stumbled into something much bigger.
Movement has always been a big part of my life, and yoga became the perfect blend of strength, softness, and self-discovery. Its rich teachings and vast philosophy offer endless ways to connect more deeply with myself and the world around me.
In 2016, I travelled to India, and that trip truly changed my life. It deepened my connection to yoga and to myself — it lit a spark that’s been guiding me ever since.
Now, it’s my joy and purpose to help others fall in love with their bodies, and to bring movement and medicine into their lives.
Yoga and Sound Trainings

February 2021
I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India with Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Center for Ashtanga, Hatha, Anatomy, Pranayama, Meditation and Adjustments.
July 2020, in the depth of lockdowns in the UK I completed my 50hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Arhanta Online Academy, 2020 the year I learnt it was safe to slow down.
2021, still very much in lockdown in the UK I completed an online training for sound healing after falling in love with the beautiful practice of Nada Yoga.
Since 2021 I've continued to further my knowledge on
Advanced Anatomy, Neuroscience, Philosophy, Sanskrit,
and different teaching/adjustment methods.
Attending workshops and online trainings to bring more for me and my clients.
Up until recently, I taught pole fitness — something I was completely obsessed with for years. It taught me so much about strength, confidence, and expression. But over time, my soul began nudging me in a new direction.
These days, my heart is fully focused on yoga, sound healing, and (soon!) Positive Psychology coaching, which I’m currently training in.
I’ve learned that it’s not only okay to shift, evolve, and let go of what no longer lights you up — it’s necessary.
Growth often means honouring when something has run its course, and making space for what truly aligns with who you're becoming.
