What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a full-body movement practice performed on a specialised spring-resistance machine called the reformer. Unlike mat pilates, the reformer adds both support and challenge — allowing you to work with greater range, control, and precision.

It's low-impact, but don't let that fool you. It builds real, functional strength from the inside out.

I came to reformer pilates because my own body needed it.

Teaching pole fitness for over 8 years, was very demanding on my body, I started suffering with low back pain and instability of my pelvis. I was looking for something that would help me feel stronger and more supported — and the reformer gave me exactly that. The way it works with your body, meeting you where you are and building from there, felt deeply familiar to everything I already believe about movement.

It made such a difference to how I feel in my body that I trained to teach it. Now I get to share that with you.

Reformer pilates is for anyone who wants to build strength, develop stability, and feel more at home in their body.

You don't need experience. You don't need to be flexible or fit to start. What you do need is a willingness to slow down, tune in, and move with intention — and if you've found your way here, you probably already have that.

Whether you're brand new to pilates or looking to deepen an existing practice, there's a place for you here.

1:1 Private Sessions — at my home
A session in a calm- once the dogs have said hi, personal setting at my home studio. With just the two of us and my own reformer, every session is built entirely around you — your body, your goals, your pace. Perfect if you want dedicated one-to-one attention, are working around an injury, or simply want to feel truly seen in your practice.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

 

Group Classes — The Reform Lounge, Mansfield

Join me at The Reform Lounge for small group reformer classes on Wednesdays, with Mondays joining the timetable from July. A supportive, welcoming environment where you can move alongside others and still receive proper guidance throughout.
